Topic:Anyone up for target practice on Cormorants?
Our lake in Humble, Buckhorn Ranch, is overrun with Cormorants. We need to find members or nonmembers that would like to go shoot them on a regular basis. This would be nonstop action. There are a few hundred standing cypress trees in the water and probably 2 to 5 birds per tree. If we can put pressure on these birds on a regular basis they will eventually get the hint and stay away. We got a permit from Texas Parks and Wildlife to shoot them. All you need is a hunting license, $20 hunt fee, and as many shells as you can carry. Call the club office to arrange a trip.

Derek, Please send me information on this hunt. I can get a group together and help thin out the birds. What would you charge for non members? Good Hunting, Tim
