Canton: China Grove (See Photo Below) |
Description China Grove is a small 3 1/2-acre tank with depths up to 16 feet. The tank was built in 1990 and has been well managed. It has been stocked twice in the past six years with Florida bass, channel cat, bluegill and fathead minnows. This tank has produced many bass in the 10 lb. range and there is plenty of submerged structure for the fish to hide. There are two boats (9ft, 12 ft) with oars on the property for members to use. Additions to the lodging have been made, making it better suited for family outings. Additions include a living area equipped with television, DVD, VHS, and stereo/CD. Also, a hot tub has been installed. Another cabin has also been built near the lake. See the lodging page for details. |
